Radio address for February 21, 2011: some things not many people seem to know about Niagara Falls, about kings and fools.

You can download a collection of typed and handwritten notes for this episode. I read from these for the recording but they do not exactly match what I said.

The album art for this episode is based on a photo by Wouter (CC License). The music cues are all from the movie adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. I initially thought that out of respect for the format, I ought to truncate the ending song, which is rather long, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Radio address for December 1, 2010. It is extremely cold and snowy here now. These are just a few glimpses of surviving and micro-thriving in the middle of winter.

The music at the end is The Snail and the Rosebush from my friend Benji Flaming’s album Solo Banjo which you really should listen to. The other music cue is Sitting in the Stern of a Boat from the Lewis and Clark original soundtrack.
